An increasing number of young people from the Republic of Moldova choose to continue their studies in Romania, preferring faculties such as Economics, Law or Construction. The diverse offerings and facilities for future students are presented at the Romanian Universities Fair, reports IPN.
The event coordinator, Andreea Mihai, mentioned that the educational offer is very diverse. According to her, the fair is meant to provide future students with all the necessary information to facilitate their journey during the admission period. Thus, they can make well-informed choices, opting for the university they truly desire and the specialization that sparks their interest.
“For me, it was a priority to go to Romania. I knew that there were more opportunities there and the University of Suceava was the optimal choice, as the conditions are very good, including in the dormitories, and the academic environment is very friendly. I knew I wanted to go into international relations and one of the universities I chose was this one,” Vanessa Lozan recounted.
Also, the most sought after among the youth of Moldova is the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. Ilie Ursu, a student originally from Moldova, said he was attracted by the prestige of the university and the substantial scholarships.
Another young man from Moldova is Dumitru Pirlog, a graduate of the “Ovidius” University in Constanta. According to him, Bessarabian students who choose to study at this university have many advantages – starting with free dormitory places and continuing with attractive scholarships.
