Three flu-related deaths and 400 infections since the beginning of the cold season in Romania

Two more deaths caused by the flu virus were confirmed in Romania last week. Thus, the toll for this cold season is three victims, all elderly. The number of infections has risen to almost 400, reports IPN.

 

The National Institute of Public Health reported cases of death between December 22-28, in people over 65 years old in the counties of Buzau, Cluj and Constanta.

At the same time, epidemiologists from across the Prut warn that already 398 cases of influenza, confirmed by laboratory, have been recorded since the beginning of the cold season.
