
International bus transport from Romania to Italy, France, Germany, Spain, and Turkey will also remain suspended until June 1, the National Committee for Emergency Situations decided on Thursday evening, May 14. Several border checkpoints will remain closed.
All the people who come to Romania from other countries will have to isolate themselves at home, no matter the country of origin. Those who don’t have this possibility can opt for institutionalized quarantine and pay for it.
The National Committee for Emergency Situations declared on Thursday evening the state of alert in Romania for 30 days, interior minister Marcel Vela announced after the committee’s meeting. The committee also approved the measures and restrictions to be enforced during the state of alert.
