The total equity turnover of the BVB rose to 57.2 million lei ($13.4 million/12.5 million euro) from 32.8 million lei on Wednesday.
Banca Transilvania led blue-chip decliners, losing 1.99% to 2.7150 lei in the day’s highest turnover of 10.75 million lei.
Blue-chip investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] rose 0.46% to 0.8790 lei in the day’s second largest turnover of 8.58 million lei.
Romanian gas pipeline operator Transgaz [BSE:TGN] lost 1.39% to 356 lei in the day’s third largest turnover of 5.62 million lei.
On March 3, BVB announced that it will expand the composition of the main index BET and of the BET Total Return index (BET-TR) for the first time since its launch. Starting March 20, BET and BET-TR will include MedLife [BSE:M] and Conpet [BSE:COTE], taking the total number of companies to 12.
