Romania, third in the EU for net cash inflows from individuals

Romania was third in the European Union (EU), in 2015, for the surplus in personal fund transfers from abroad, says Romania-Insider.com.

The difference between the money transferred to Romania by people living abroad and the money transferred abroad from people in the country was EUR 1.74 billion, according to the EU statistical office Eurostat.

Only Poland and Portugal saw higher net personal transfers from abroad, namely EUR 2.97 billion and EUR 2.59 billion.
