Polish sportswear retailer 50 Style said on Thursday it has opened its first store in Romania, according to SeeNews.com.
The 315 sq m store is located in Bucharest-based Iris shopping mall, the company said in a press release.
“Romania is developing rapidly, and market dynamics is remarkable in the whole of Central and Eastern Europe. In spite of our still low presence here, the reception of our brand in Romania was very good. What is important to us is of course the size of the country as well as its valuable potential, which is not only concentrated in the capital, but also in other cities such as Timisoara, Constanta, Cluj-Napoca, Craiova or Iasi”, 50 Style international leasing manager Rafal Pierzchniak said.
“Expanding in Romania is one of our development goals in the coming years for both Sizeer and 50 Style. In addition, we focus on covering the markets we are already operating on – Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.”
50 Styles is part of is part of Poland’s Marketing Investment Group and operates over 140 shops in Poland and Lithuania.
In addition to 50 Style, the Marketing Investment Group also includes Sizeer, a multi-brand chain of sports equipment.
Sizeer is present on the Romanian market since the beginning of 2018 with three stores located in shopping malls.
