Blue Air announces Italian expansion

Romania’s Blue Air has announced that it will strengthen its strategic position in Italy with new routes and additional flights to Turin, Italy starting September 2020, the airline announced in a press release, quoted by airlinegeeks.com.

The airline is slated to enhance its operations in Italy by deploying an additional aircraft to its Turin base in September. The deployment will enable Blue Air to launch three new routes from Turin and increase current flight frequencies on domestic routes.

The Bucharest-based airline plans to operate flights on seven domestic routes from Turin with a twice-a-day service to Catania ad a daily service to Lamezia Terme, Bari and Cagliari. The new flights are in addition to the airline’s existing flights to Naples, Alghero and Trapani.
