CFR Cluj made a €3.5 million loss in 2022

CFR Cluj continued to make financial losses in 2022. Last year, the Cluj team lost €3.5 million, according to the financial report of the Cluj team, says SportinCluj.ro.

As a result of the decent run in the European cups, CFR Cluj had higher revenues in 2022 compared to 2021. This is 14.4 million euros, while two years ago the Cluj team had revenues of 11 million euros.

CFR Cluj’s losses were covered by the main shareholder of the Cluj team, Nelu Varga. The club’s debt to the businessman has risen to around €30 million.
