Swiss academic award for the Romanian Royal Family

An emotional moment happened in Romania, on the eve of the centenary of the birth of King Michael I of Romania. Two prominent members of Romania’s Royal Family have received exceptional academic recognition from a prestigious Swiss university, according to ClujToday.ro.

They are Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown, and His Royal Highness Prince Radu of Romania, who became Doctor Honoris Causa of the School of Diplomacy and International Relations in Geneva, according to Via Cluj TV.

The ceremony to award the academic distinctions took place in the Hall of Honour of Peles Castle. The two laudatio were delivered by the President of the School, Colum de Sales Murphy.
