The average rent in Bucharest grew in quarter 4, 2019 and reached the level of the one in Cluj, according to Imobiliare.ro. “In Bucharest, the average rent for a two-room apartment is 420 euros/month, on the rise from 410 euros in quarter 3. The same type of housing (two rooms, comfort 1, built 1980-2000 period, area of 50-60 sq.m) can be rented in Cluj-Napoca with the same price of 420 euros/month,” according to a press release, quoted by ActMedia.eu.Those two cities are followed by Timisoara and Brasov with an average rent of 350 euros/month.
“On the other hand, Iasi recorded a drop, below 350 euros/month, to 330 euros/month. The same average rent, of 330 euros is applied in Tulcea, while in Targu-Mures landlords ask for 320 euros/month. In Constanta, a two-room apartment can be rented with 300 euros/month, the same price as in Ploiesti.”
200 euros is the average amount requested in Targoviste, Satu Mare, Drobeta Turnu-Severin, Piatra Neamt, Baia Mare, Ramnicu Valcea, Slatina and 210 euros/month in Targu-Jiu.
Bucharest attracted 37,800 inquiries, followed by Timisoara (6,100), Constanta (5,300), Cluj-Napoca (4,900), Brasov (4,400) and Iasi (3,800).
