Mathematician Valer-Daniel Breaz has been named as the new Minister of Culture in Romania, as the Social Democratic Party (PSD) changed several ministers from the Government, says FilmNewEurope.com.
Valer-Daniel Breaz was born in 1975 and holds a PhD in Mathematics. He has been the Rector of the “1 Decembrie 1918” University in Alba Iulia since 2012. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party, which is the ruling party in Romania.
Valer-Daniel Breaz is replacing George Ivașcu, who was named minister of Culture in January 2018.
