Belgian-owned retailer Mega Image Romania said on Friday it opened four new stores, increasing the number of its outlets to 557, says SeeNews.com.

Two of the four stores are located in Bucharest, while the other two are located respectively in the Black Sea resort of Mamaia, Constanta county and in the northwestern city of Cluj-Napoca, Cluj county, Mega Image said in a press release.

With the new stores, Mega Image’s network in Cluj reaches two stores, while in Constanta county, the retailer now has 20 stores.

“The second opening in Cluj confirms the commitment we took on by launching this market, of giving our customers a different shopping experience. We continue to support local producers through direct partnerships,” the general manager of Mega Image Romania, Vassilis Stavrou, said.
