The supermarket is located in the Platinia shopping center on Calea Manastur. It cover about 1000 sqm and represents the main anchor of the Platinia shopping center, according to Romania-Insider.com.
By the end of this year, the retailer will open other stores in Cluj-Napoca, said Vassilis Stavrou, Mega Image general manager. The company has focused on Bucharest so far, with some stores opened in other cities in the south of the country.
Mega Image currently has 535 supermarkets and proximity stores in Bucharest, Constanta, Brasov, Ploiesti, Targoviste and several other smaller cities. The company had sales of over EUR 800 million and over 8,000 employees in 2015.
