Romanian state-owned company Romfilatelia issues a postage stamp named “Simona Halep, Romanian Tennis Ambassador” to honor the performance of the tennis player and, in particular, the Wimbledon title won on July 13, 2019, according to Business-Review.eu.
One stamp has the image of Simona Halep raising the Wimbledon 2019 trophy, while another stamp presents the signature in gold leaf of Simona Halep and illustrates her presenting the trophy to the public. A game image is played in the non-dotted collapsed stamp.
“Simona Halep, Romanian Tennis Ambassador” postage stamp will be available Friday at Romfilatelia stores in Bucharest, Bacău, Braşov, Cluj-Napoca, Iaşi and Timişoara and through online store.
