Romania’s first long-distance route, Via Transilvanica , a project initiated by Associacia Tasuleasa Social led by Alin Ușeriu, completed its 1,400-kilometer stretch and officially opened on Saturday evening in Alba Iulia. His 134-kilometer section, placed last on the route, was the Alba County section, according to WorldAkkam.com.
The route starts in Bukovina, Putna, ends in Danube, Drobeta Turnu Severin and passes through 10 counties: Mehedinți, Caraș-Severin, Hunedoara, Alba, Sibiu, Brasov, Harghita, Mures, Bistrita-Nasaud and Suceava.
