Cluj president does not rule out Korenica’s departure

The president of Romanian Cluj, Iuliu Muresan, has not ruled out the possibility of the departure of Kosovar footballer, Meriton Korenica, according to Koha.net.

“No concrete offer has yet been received for Meriton Korenica, but 2-3 managers have contacted and expressed interest. However, the situation has not yet reached the stage of an official offer, there are only initial steps and the same applies to all players,” Iuliu Mureșan said in an interview for “Digisport”.

The 29-year-old Meriton Korenica has scored 12 goals and made nine assists in 48 games played in all competitions with Cluj this season.

The Kosovar striker was transferred to Cluj in 2024.
