U-BT Cluj defeated Aris in Thessaloniki 98–88, while Hapoel Jerusalem secured a 98–66 victory over Venezia, according to Basketball Sphere.
Aris was the team that opened the game better, starting with an 8-0 run. The home side led throughout the entire first quarter, and after Elijah Moten-Long’s free throws they reached a nine-point advantage. However, U-BT Cluj responded with a 5-0 run to cut the deficit at the end of the first period (21-17).
Aris managed to maintain their lead, with the Thessaloniki team guided by Danilo Andjusic and Amine Noua, who both scored 20 points. At halftime, the score stood at 41-38 in favor of Aris.
After the break, U-BT Cluj made several attempts to tie the game, but Aris managed to preserve its lead. However, late in the third quarter, the visitors first pulled ahead through Dusan Miletic’s points and then managed to maintain the advantage. The final quarter began with U-BT Cluj leading 60-58.
Both teams caught fire in the fourth quarter — the most efficient period of the game — but the tempo seemed to suit the Romanian side more. U-BT Cluj kept increasing its lead, eventually securing a 98-88 victory. The top scorer for the winning team was Mitchell Creek with 27 points, followed by Noua with 20.
On the other hand, Hapoel Jerusalem hosted Venezia. In their seventh win of the season, the Israeli team was led by Jared Harper with 18 points, while Khadeen Carrington and Yovel Zoosman added 15 points each. For Venezia, the standouts were R.J. Cole with 12 points and Ky Bowman with 11. Hapoel controlled the game from the very start, steadily increasing their lead as the match progressed. The home team fully justified their role as favorites, securing the win without any suspense.
Hapoel Jerusalem now has a 7–2 record, sharing first place in Group A with Cedevita Olimpija. With this victory, Cluj/Napoca moved up to fourth place (5–4), while Venezia and Aris both stand at 4–5.
