Romania’s AROBS cons net profit drops 33% in 2024

Romanian software developer AROBS Group’s consolidated net profit fell 33% on the year to 21.2 million lei ($4.8 million/4.3 million euro) in 2024, the company’s parent company AROBS Transilvania Software said, according to See News.

The company’s consolidated revenue decreased by an annual 3% to 414.7 million lei last year, it said in a financial report filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange last week.

“In terms of profitability, we closed 2024 with an EBITDA of 59.6 million lei (+10% vs. the budget) and with a net profit of 21.2 million lei, a solid result in a year marked by economic and market challenges for technology companies. This net result exceeded the revised budget by 18% and reflects the continued implementation of cost optimization measures and the agile adaptation of our operational strategy,” AROBS CEO Voicu Oprean said.

The group’s EBITDA decreased by 19% year-on-year in 2024.

AROBS Transilvania Software is an IT company established in 1998 and headquartered in Cluj-Napoca. The company is focused on developing custom software for a range of industries.
