One of the most beloved Pontiffs in history, Pope Francis, has died. His death occurred on Easter Sunday.
The information was confirmed by Kevin Joseph Farrell, who added that the Holy Father returned to his Heavenly Father’s house at 07.35 today.
Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, president of the Italian Conference of Catholic Bishops, said this was a moment of great suffering for the whole Church.
Pope Francis had suffered from a long-standing lung disease. The cause of death has not been officially announced.
