“In the last 15 years, EducaTIFF brought hundreds of films to children, followed by discussions with directors, teachers and specialists; dozens of workshops of film and media education; it has initiated the Cinema Class, a project of film education in schools, which will be launched in two high schools in Cluj-Napoca and Focșani in 2024, and it helped nurture a new generation of film audience. Converting this rich programme into a festival came naturally”, said Maria Dobre, the coordinator of MiniTIFF.
The 23rd Transilvania IFF, which will be held 14 – 24 June 2024, will offer an appetizer to MiniTIFF including in its programme a special selection of films for children and youth.
