As officially announced by the club on its website, U-BT Cluj-Napoca has added the French Adam Mokoka to its roster, heading to the start of the 2023-24 BKT EuroCup. European champions with the French national team U18 and U16 respectively in 2016 and 2014, the Romanian club is only the last step of already a long and varied career for the Paris native player, who joined Bryce Jones, DJ Seeley, and more in the black-and-white team, according to eurohoops.net.
Before moving to Romania, the 25-year-old guard spent time with Reyer Venice – playing only eight games in the LBA with 5.1 points per appearance -, Nanterre 92, Mega Basket, and BCM Gravelines, where he made his professional debut.
Going undrafted in 2019, he then signed a two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls, representing the Windy City Bulls, the Austin Spurs, and finally the Oklahoma Blue in the G-League before coming back to Europe.
In the European competition, U-BT Cluj-Napoca will play in Group B with 7bet-Lietkabelis Panevezys, Aris Thessaloniki, Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, Dolomiti Energia Trento, Dreamland Gran Canaria, JL-Bourg-en-Bresse, ratiopharm Ulm, Slask Wroclaw, and Turk Telekom Ankara.
