The Romanian Railway Company (CFR) has recently put into circulation the so-called Sun Trains (Trenurile Soarelui) that travel toward the Black Sea coast and the Danube Delta over the summer, according to Romania-Insider.com.
“There are 32 trains connecting the country to the seaside, and there are 38 trains connecting Bucharest to the seaside, including those coming from other parts of the country that pass through Bucharest. […] Practically, no corner of the country remains disconnected from the seaside, and not only from the seaside but also from the most important tourist areas, because the demand for transportation has increased in other tourist destinations as well. However, it is true that the focus and center of gravity will be the seaside this summer,” stated Adrian Vlaicu, head of marketing services at CFR Passengers, cited by Digi24.
