Bucharest bourse indices end week in the green, BT leads blue-chip gainers

Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) indices continued to rise on Friday as lender Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] led gainers among blue chips. The total equity turnover of the BVB amounted to some 42.2 million lei ($10.3 million/8.6 million euro) on Friday, compared to 18.4 million lei on Thursday, bourse data showed, quoted by SeeNews.com.

Banca Transilvania led blue-chip gainers on Friday, as its share price jumped 4.77% to 2.3050 lei in the day’s largest turnover of 14.57 million lei.

Investment fund SIF 2 Moldova [BSE:SIF2], recently rebranded as Evergent Investments, gained 1.45% to 1.4 lei in the second largest trading turnover during the session, of 6.61 million lei.

Blue-chip oil and gas group OMV Petrom [BSE:SNP] rose 4.06% to 0.3975 lei in the day’s third largest turnover 5.65 million lei.
