These include keeping the nurseries, kinder gardens and schools closed down. Also, activities scheduled in locations such as the Gheorgheni Sports Base are canceled. Means of transport, bus stations and markets are disinfected on a regular basis.
The mayor asked the citizens of Cluj-Napoca to stay home. He also thanked all the health professionals and all the civil servants who are involved in ensuring the functioning of the state.
In order to discourage the people from traveling through the city, the transport capacity of the Public Transport Company was reduced to 65 percent of the usual one. The degree of loading of the means of public transport is between 15 and 40 percent. The mayor recommends the use masks in public transportation.
Also, the mayor of Cluj announced that local authorities are ready to provide financial support to hospitals.
