German-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry inaugurates in Cluj a branch for Transylvania region

Problems related to the human resource, bureaucracy and lack of predictability are the most important facing the German investors in Romania, according to the President of the German-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry AHK Romania, Dragos Anastasiu, quoted by ActMedia.eu.

He participated on Friday in Cluj Napoca in the inauguration of an AHK branch in Transylvania.

According to the AHK representatives in Romania, Germany is one of the most important economic partners of our country and the second foreign investor. Considering that numerous German companies are located in Transylvania and wanting to strengthen its own presence in the region, the AHK Romania management decided to set up a branch in Cluj Napoca Municipality.

“Human resource is our main problem, with the second being bureaucracy, which is as suffocating as it is useless, and the third problem facing the German companies, maybe the toughest, for it has to do with the different mentality here, is called predictability or the lack of it for, unlike Germans, Romanians think that they can adjust to everything, that they can find solutions along the way, that they can do it regardless how many unforeseen events may come their way, in Germany they plan everything in the long run, they are considering decades, Dragos Anastasiu told a press conference on Friday.

According to him, the directions started in the past years by the representatives of AKH Romania will be further developed in Transylvania, and he mentioned in this respect dual education at high school level, the strengthening of the efforts to attract people to specialize started in the human resources field or its involvement in developing the cities according to the smart city concept.
