Competition Council OKs ‘Gazeta sporturilor’ takeover by Ringier

The Competition Council has authorised the transaction by which Ringier Sportal SRL has taken over the assets related to the business of ‘Gazeta sporturilor’, says RomaniaJournal.ro.

The acquired assets concern activities such as printing and selling of the ‘Gazeta sporturilor’ newspaper, the selling of advertising space for the printed paper and for the online paper, capital.ro informs.

Ringier Sportal SRL is a company having as shareholders Ringier AG and Digital Ventures Ltd. Ringier AG is part of Ringier Group, whereas Digital Ventures is a company established according to the Bulgarian legislation.
