The Romanian police confiscated the license plate, which with the Swedish language means “FUCK PSD”. The car with which the police had rented rooms, belongs to Romania Razvan Stefanescu, living in Sweden. Swedish law allows car owners to personalize license plates with any text or number combination. It costs 640 euros, according to The Bobr Times.
Stefanescu chose the inscription MUIEPSD. In Swedish it’s just a combination of letters, but the translation in Romanian it means “FUCK PSD”. All anything, but PSD is the abbreviation of the ruling social democratic party, so the police regarded it as an insult to the authorities.
The driver selected not only numbers, but also driver’s license. Stefanescu considers such actions of the police of abuse of power and shared video of the incident on his page in Facebook. Internet users immediately responded to the incident a wave of negative comments.
