Mega Image, one of the biggest supermarket chains in Romania, accelerated its expansion in the last weeks of 2017 and ended the year with 596 units. The retailer opened 69 new stores in 2017, 21 of which were inaugurated in December, according to Romania-Insider.com.
“2017 was a good year, with lots of challenges that helped us develop and meet the proposed objectives. The year’s biggest success was entering the retail market in Cluj-Napoca,” said Mega Image general manager Vassilis Stavrou.
