EUPOL COPPS facilitates study trip for Palestinian judges and prosecutors to Romania

Three Palestinian judges from the Judicial Inspection Department of the High Judicial Council (HJC) together with two chief prosecutors from the Attorney General office concluded on Thursday a four-day study trip to the Homolog Institution in Romania, according to a EUPOL COPPS press release.

The study trip, facilitated by the EUPOL COPPS, the Palestinian judges and prosecutors got an opportunity to exchange experiences in the area of judicial inspection with their Romanian counterparts, says Wafa.ps.

Other areas of expertise were also discussed, including disciplinary liability, professional evaluation and court/prosecution offices management control.

Besides visiting the Homolog Institution in Bucharest, the delegation visited courts and prosecution offices in Brasov and Cluj-Napoca, allowing members to learn from the practical experience in the area of the judicial inspection.
