Bucharest stock mkt turnover doubles on trade in Fondul Proprietatea, Electrica, Banca Transilvania

Investment fund Fondul Proprietatea  [BSE: FP], power distributor and supplier Electrica [BSE:EL] and Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] together generated 87% of the turnover on the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Thursday.

The total equity turnover of the BVB doubled to 38.7 million lei ($9.1 million /8.4 million euro) from 19.7 million lei on Wednesday.

In regular trading, Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] gained 0.25% to 0.8060 lei in Thursday’s largest turnover of 16.59 million lei.

Electrica [BSE:EL] lost 0.30% to 13.4200 lei in the day’s second-largest turnover of 9.75 million lei.

Banca Transilvania [BSE: TLV] rose 1.1% to 2.3 lei in in the day’s third-largest turnover of 7.16 million lei.
