Romania’s Cluj-Napoca hosts NASA Space Apps Challenge this April

nasaCluj-Napoca will be the first Romanian city to take part in NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge. The two-day hackathon, which is scheduled for April 23 and April 24, will be hosted by Cluj Hub, according to Romania-Insider.com.

The event is about problem-solving with a goal of producing open-source solutions to global challenges. It has six themes, namely Aeronautics, Space Station, Solar System, Technology, Earth, and Journey to Mars.

All passionate problem solvers can participate in the event, including beginners, students, experts, engineers, makers, artists, and storytellers. Their task it to develop mobile applications, software, hardware, data visualizations, and platform solutions that could contribute to space exploration missions and help improve life on Earth.
