The ultra-low-fare airline, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, announced on Tuesday that it is rolling out a three-day flash promotion series this week to celebrate the Eid travel season. The series of promotions will be live each night between 10 pm and 4 am UAE time. Travellers are being offered savings on selected fares and baggage. The offer is available for a limited time only, according to Gulf News.
The first offer, which launches on March 25, offers ten per cent off selected inbound flights to Abu Dhabi. This offer is valid for bookings made during the overnight promotional window and for travel between March 26 and June 30, available on both the website and the Wizz Air mobile app.
On March 26, a five per cent discount will apply to selected flights to and from Abu Dhabi. This deal is valid for travel between April 1 and June 30 and is available exclusively on the Wizz Air mobile app.
The final night, March 27, brings up to 15 per cent off baggage fees on selected flights to and from Abu Dhabi for travel between April 1 and June 30. This offer will also be available on the website and the Wizz Air mobile app.
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi offers ultra-low-fare travel to an expanding network of destinations, including Alexandria (Egypt), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Amman (Jordan), Baku (Azerbaijan), Beirut (Lebanon), Belgrade (Serbia), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Cairo (Egypt), Cluj (Romania), Dammam (Saudi Arabia), and more.
The ultra-low-cost airline will also start flying to Beirut from Abu Dhabi three times a week in June of this year.
In its 2024 results, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi reported more than 20 per cent year-on-year growth in seat capacity and the number of passengers carried. The airline operated more than 19,000 flights, providing more than 4.4 million ultra-low-cost seats, and carrying more than 3.5 million point-to-point passengers, contributing 25 per cent to Zayed International Airport’s point-to-point traffic.
