MedLife, the market leader in private medical services, announces the completion of the acquisition of Routine Med from Tulcea. As a result, the group is expanding its national footprint in the southeast, where it is already present with collection points, a laboratory in Constanța, as well as three hyperclinics in Constanța, Galați and Brăila, being the operator with the largest ecosystem of integrated services of diagnosis and treatment in Romania, according to Business Review.
“At the moment, if a patient from Romania wants to use MedLife services, he can reach a unit in the network within an hour’s drive. We are proud to be so close to those who need help and to be the only private medical operator present with large hospitals or clinics in all cities with over 100,000 inhabitants. This does not mean that we neglect those from smaller towns, on the contrary, which is also evidenced by the purchase of this group from Tulcea. Thanks to her, patients in the southeast of Romania will benefit from more than 20 medical and surgical specialties, including medical optics and dentistry”, said Mihai Marcu President and CEO of MedLife Grup.
The Routine Med group includes a hospital unit equipped with an operating room, a day and continuous hospitalization compartment, along with a generous ambulatory area. Thus, patients in Dobrogea have at their disposal over 20 medical and surgical specialties, including dentistry and medical optics. Inpatient and outpatient services are complemented by laboratory and medical imaging services. According to company representatives, the turnover of Routine Med in 2023 exceeded 15 million lei.
