The Constitutional Court has annulled the presidential elections. Presidential elections will be organized, from scratch.
It is an unprecedented decision. Pro-European candidate Elena Lasconi strongly criticized the decision. For his part, the current president of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, said that the new parliament would have to be validated and then vote on a new government. The new government will set the new presidential election timetable. The elections were canceled because of Russian meddling in the elections.
