The first industrial platform in Chinteni, opened by OptGroup&Proiectura

OptGroup&Proiectura, one of the most important groups of companies in the field of providing solutions, equipment and elements for infrastructure, has opened the first industrial platform in the Cluj municipality of Chinteni. This platform concretizes the development opportunities offered by the Cluj Metropolitan Area.

“We have completed the first phase of our project, including the asphalting of the access roads to the industrial platform. Currently, in Chinteni, we have civil construction materials, but also innovative elements for infrastructure, such as geotextiles, corrugated tubes and many others. The industrial platform is a key element in the development of our group. We have ambitious plans for the second phase of our project. We intend, for example, to open a metal clothing factory there, which will incorporate the latest technologies in the field. In this way, we will realize products with high added value, both for the domestic and export markets”, said Ionuț Coman, CEO of OptGroup&Proiectura.

The industrial platform in Chinteni has an area of 12,500 square meters and has reached a value of €1,000,000. Ionuț Coman says that investments will continue in 2025. “We have an integrated strategy, which includes design and architecture divisions, divisions providing concrete solutions for projects, including in the field of green energy, as well as execution divisions,” added the Cluj entrepreneur.

Currently, the group of companies founded by Ionuț Coman is present on the Romanian and Moldovan markets. “We took the decision to expand our activity beyond the Prut river following our participation in the Royal Forum in Chisinau, founded at the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Radu of Romania. We joined this initiative from the very beginning. I had the great honor to be among the speakers of this forum together with personalities such as the Prime Minister of Moldova, Mr. Dorin Recean, the President of the Parliament of Chisinau, Mr. Igor Grosu, ministers and parliamentarians from Moldova, Romania and Poland, rectors of the most important universities in Moldova, supported by representatives of prestigious Romanian universities. There I realized the huge potential of Moldova and I decided to invest beyond the Prut in order to make a concrete contribution to the European path of this Romanian state. We have relevant experience in the realization of concrete projects, we are involved in the transfer of best practices to Moldova and we will contribute to the absorption of non-reimbursable funds that will become available in the context of the EU accession process”, said Ionuț Coman.

Currently, OptGroup&Proiectura has reached a turnover of over 20 million lei and employs over 55 people. In addition to its presence in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, the group of companies founded by Ionuț Coman is involved in developing partnerships with entities in Turkey, Poland, Italy and Kosovo.
