Turkish manufacturer Karsan is continuing to grow its presence across Europe, and recently signed a new contract with the municipality of Botosani in Romania, one of its main target markets, for 38 10-metre e-ATAbuses, following the recent sale of 30 e-JEST buses to the same city through its distributor AAR (Anadolu Automobil Rom), according to CBW Magazine.
Karsan has also signed another agreement with the town of Alba Iulia for six e-JESTs, and says it is taking firm steps towards having the country’s largest electric public transport fleet as of 2025.
