A unique event in the interior design landscape in Romania, the ninth edition of DECO Days brings together exhibitors, interior designers, architects, stylists, influencers and business communities in numerous workshops, discussion panels and debates. The event takes place in Sala Polivalenta in Cluj-Napoca, for 4 days, on September 12-15, according to Business Magazine.
DECO Days 2024 connects the community of designers and architects with profile businesses. The event will showcase the latest trends in interior design, market opportunities and current themes.
This year’s edition represents the ideal setting for interior design and architecture lovers to establish important collaborations with established brands and take part in presentations and workshops. Companies also have the opportunity to place their products in unique design concepts, to make direct connections with designers or architects, and to increase the visibility of their own products.
This year, talks will focus on the future of design, with a focus on trends such as sustainability and the integration of AI technology. There will be no shortage of innovative solutions for small spaces, or debates on the analysis of the evolution of Romanian industry. The guests will address topics such as business models adapted to new requirements, or the importance of awards in a designer’s career. Last but not least, the analysis of the impact of technology on the design and visualization process will be brought to the fore.
Among the guests are established designers and architects and well-known brands in fields such as lighting, ceramic floors and tiles, indoor and outdoor furniture, textiles, sanitary ware, decorations or accessories.
More than 20 conferences will take place, and among the guests of the edition will be Cosmin Todor – winner of numerous national and international awards in design, Vlad Mureșan – interior designer specialized in office design or Anda Zota, architect and editor of the publication Igloo, or Patricia Opincariu, teacher at the University of Art and Design.
With the support of the Romanian Association for Design and Innovation, special guests that will take the stage include: Șerban Țigănaș, founder of the multidisciplinary office Dico și Țigănaș, Sebastian Mândroiu, specialist in the field of interior design or Patricia Opincariu, teaching staff at the University of Art and Design.
At the Design Talks series, the public has access to the speeches of Victor Grosu, Mihnea Ghilduș or Adrian Balcău.
The marketing and brand components will be showcased at the event by Makkai Bence. Alexandra Crăciun and others, while Adela Pârvu, designer, blogger and influencer, will interact in innovative ways with the participating public.
