After Armend Thaqi, Arlind Ajeti is also expected to leave the Romanian team, CFR Cluj, according to koha.net.
This was announced by the president of the Romanian club, Cristi Balaj. The 30-year-old has a contract with Cluj until the summer of 2025, but with a good offer, the Romanian club will release him.
“If we get a good offer, we will let him go. He is a good player. He is one of the few players who has played in Europe. But the coach appreciates the others better”, said Cristi Balaj for “fanatik.ro”.
Ajeti has been part of Cluj since the summer of last year. In Cluj he excelled and is considered one of the best defenders in the Romanian championship. After good performances, he was invited to Euro 2024 and was the headliner in Albania.
This edition has only one appearance in the Romanian elite, in July.
