Romanian concrete products manufacturer Prebet Aiud said that its net profit rose to 6.4 million lei ($1.4 million/1.3 million euro) in 2023, from 3.6 million lei in 2022. The company’s net turnover increased to 59.4 million lei last year, from 44.9 million lei in 2022, Prebet Aiud said in an annual financial statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange, quoted by See News.
Prebet’s operating income grew to 55.7 million lei in 2023 from 46.9 million lei in 2022, while its operating expenditure increased to 48.5 million lei from 44.1 million lei.
Total assets stood at 90.5 million lei at the end of 2023, up from 61.7 million lei a year earlier, whereas total debt jumped to 37.4 million lei from 16.2 million lei.
Last month, Prebet Aiud said it signed a 48.9 million lei contract with an undisclosed client to supply prestressed products for projects funded through Romania’s national recovery and resilience plan.
