Romanian theaters embrace the niche of cultural tourism

The theaters in Sfântu Gheorghe, Craiova, and Constanța have launched a common social media page – Turism Cultural –  dedicated to cultural tourism, a premiere for the Romanian landscape. The “Andrei Mureșanu” Theater in Sfântu Gheorghe, the “Marin Sorescu” National Theater in Craiova, and the State Theater in Constanța promotional idea of cultural tourism aligns with a well-established and globally recognized niche within the tourism industry, according to Business-Review.eu.

Cultural tourism has emerged as a substantial and continually expanding sector in international travel, where travelers increasingly seek authentic cultural experiences that afford them the opportunity to deeply engage with the historical, artistic, and traditional facets of diverse regions.

On this page, programs and cultural-tourism packages offered by the three theaters for people in the country who want to see performances from their repertoires will be presented.

“Welcome, dear travelers, to the first page dedicated to cultural tourism. Three theaters in Romania have been offering cultural tourism services for some time now: the ‘Andrei Mureșanu’ Theater in Sfântu Gheorghe, the ‘Marin Sorescu’ National Theater in Craiova, and the State Theater in Constanța. On this page, you will find fresh information about where and when cultural trips are organized. The next cultural excursion will take place in February, in Sfântu Gheorghe, in the form of a romantic weekend in Secuime,” it says on the Cultural Tourism page, launched on Monday.

The trip to Sfântu Gheorghe will take place from February 17th to 18th, and the package includes accommodation, meals, access to the performances “La Ronde” and “Sakura Sandwich,” as well as access to museums and art galleries in the city.

The cost of the package is 500 lei for tourists from Cluj, which also includes transportation, and 400 lei for those from the rest of the country, who arrange their own transportation.
