The Full Moon Creative Lab project, launched by Romanian Film Promotion and the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF), and supported by Creative Europe – MEDIA, offers an ideal platform for industry professionals to develop their craft, according to cineuropa.org.
The call for projects for the lab is currently open, with the deadline set for 15 September. Successful applicants will participate in creative residencies scheduled for October 2023, March 2024 and June 2024. Importantly, this programme is accessible to writers from all EU member countries.
The Full Moon Creative Lab boasts a distinguished panel of facilitators and mentors, offering invaluable guidance and expertise. Among them are Eilon Razkovsky (Israel), a highly regarded producer; Arnaud Louvet (France), an accomplished scriptwriter; Geo Doba (Romania), a scriptwriter and director; Frank Spotnitz (USA), an award-winning screenwriter and producer; Agathe Berman (France), a pitchologist, producer and writer; Gabriela Iacob (Romania/Spain), a TV series producer; and Johnathan Young (UK), a broadcaster and producer. This line-up will be enriched by additional experts who will provide essential insights and support throughout the lab.
Each edition of the Full Moon Creative Lab will culminate in a pitching session at the Transilvania International Film Festival in June. This session will offer participants the opportunity to present their projects to influential industry professionals, including producers, broadcasters, sales agents and representatives of major streaming platforms. Additionally, one-on-one meetings will be facilitated to foster further opportunities and support for the showcased projects in the marketplace.
