Romanian concrete products manufacturer Prebet Aiud [BSE:PREB] said that it has established three wholly-owned subsidiares as part of its strategy to optimise costs, improve energy efficiency and raise output, according to SeeNews.com.
The three units – Prebet Aggregates, Prebet Energy and Prebet Logistics – will be active in the extraction of gravel and sand, electricity production and logistics, respectively, Prebet said in a filing with the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Thursday.
In 2022, Prebet Aiud’s net profit edged down to 4.15 million lei ($912,000/837,500 euro) from 4.2 million lei a year earlier, the company said in a statement filed with the Bucharest bourse in March.
Prebet Aiud shares last traded 10% higher at 2.2 lei by 1432 CET on Wednesday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
