BlackCab appoints new country manager

With over 20 years of experience in telecommunications and IT, Dan Boabeș has been appointed Country Manager of Blackcab, a company that provides premium alternative transportation services in Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj and Constanta, according to WorldAkkam.com.

Over the years, Dan Boabeș, 48, has founded companies such as mobile payment aggregator SimPlus, car-sharing service provider CityLink, and mental health and welfare project 4mind.ro.

The new manager’s goals include increasing market share, strengthening the leadership position in the premium B2B segment, increasing profitability, expanding activities in the country’s largest cities, and attracting funding sources to support the goals, according to Romania Journal.

BlackCab serves in Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj and Constanta.
