The Transilvania International Film Festival (June 17-26, 2022) announced a partnership with the TikTok platform. The partnership includes a hashtag challenge that culminates in a special award event at Cluj-Napoca and a VFX master class for teenagers given by Robert Tatoi within EducaTIFF, says Worldakkam.com.
Under the hashtag #PovestitorulDeFilm, Romanian TikTok users can participate in the TIFF 2022 Challenge. To participate, content creators must create a video clip within 1 minute on TikTok. In this video clip, they can creatively convey and display the actions of your favorite movies and series. The challenge is not to say the name of the movie or series, but to encourage fans to guess. From June 23rd to 26th, the two most creative and inspirational videos will give them a complete experience at the festival and guarantee all costs. A special award event will be held here and the winning clips will be screened. Participants will meet with judges, film industry experts, and TikTok representatives, according to Romania Journal.
Winners will be selected by a jury consisting of Cătălin Ionuț (content creator with over 2 million followers), Mara Oprea (actress and content creator), and Carol Ionescu (actor). The #PovestitorulDeFilm Contest will run until June 15th. For more information and regulations, please visit the TikTok platform. TikTok will also participate in the festival’s education section, EducaTIFF. Robert Tatoi, one of the country’s most acclaimed content creators and visual effects experts, will only offer young content enthusiasts aged 16 and 18 at 4:30 pm on Thursday, June 23. We will hold a targeted VFX master class.
Fifteen participants will be selected and will be registered by filling out the following form. https://forms.gle/shZLxVDLk2Mm1uR76..
