Survey: Health services, air pollution and road infrastructure, the most important three urban issues

Health services, air pollution and road infrastructure are the most important three urban issues, show a survey made by the ministry of public works, development and administration and World Bank, according to which in nine cities, the level of satisfaction surpasses 90% (Cluj-Napoca, Oradea, Alba Iulia, Brasov, Drobeta Turnu Severin, Timisoara, Sighisoara, Slatina and Iasi), according to ActMedia.eu.

‘Health services, air pollution and road infrastructure are the most important three urban issues resulted as a result of a survey with over 13,000 inhabitants in 41 urban localities in Romania’ shows the ministry of public works, development in a press release.

Inspired by the Eurobarometre Flash of the European Commission, the survey is the first urban barometre in the history of Romania. The urban barometre was developed in the project of establishment of the Urban Policy of Romania, developed by the Ministry of public works, development and administration and the World Bank in an agreement of technical assistance, says the ministry.

The survey focused on the quality of urban life and was presented between 1st July and 15th August 2020.
