The 23,000 sq m store is located on a 5.4 ha land plot and will have 500 parking spots.
The new store will offer products of both international and local suppliers and will employ 100.
“The inauguration of the store in Oradea reconfirms Hornbach’s success in Romania and shows once more that the opening of large stores in key cities in the country is a correct strategy,” Hornbach Romania general manager Mugurel-Horia Rusu said
With this store opening, Hornbach’s total investment in Romania amounts to 175.2 million euro.
Mugurel-Horia Rusu also said that Hornbach is considering to develop its network in Cluj-Napoca and Constanta.
