Romanian stock indices fell on Wednesday, as Lender Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] paced blue-chip gainers, data from the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, indicated, according to SeeNews.com.
The total equity turnover of the BVB amounted to some 53.9 million lei ($13 million/ 11 million euro) on Wednesday, compared to 18.96 million lei on Tuesday, BVB’s website showed.
Banca Transilvania led blue-chip gainers, by adding 1.21% to 2.0950 lei in the largest trading turnover during the session, of 12.9 million lei.
Lender BRD Goupe Societe Generale [BSE:BRD] rose 1.04% to 11.7 lei in the day’s second largest turnover of 12.5 million lei.
Investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] share price stood to 1.1750 lei in the day’s third largest turnover of 9.25 million lei.
