Romanian stock indices sank further on Tuesday, as lender Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] led blue-chip decliners, data from the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, indicated, according to SeeNews.com.
The total equity turnover of the BVB amounted to some 27 million lei ($6.3 million/ 5.6 million euro) on Tuesday, compared to 24.5 million lei on Monday, BVB’s website showed.
Banca Transilvania led blue-chip decliners on Tuesday, shedding 2.35% to 2.08 lei in the largest trading turnover during the session, of 12.8 million lei.
Blue-chip lender BRD Groupe Societe Generale [BSE:BRD] lost 1.55% to 11.4 lei in the day’s second largest turnover of 2.12 million lei.
Financial group Erste Bank AG [BSE:EBS] share price fell 1.24% to 107.15 lei in the day’s third largest turnover of 1.18 million lei.
