Romanian stock indices ended in red on Wednesday, as lender Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] led blue-chip decliners, data from the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, indicated, according to SeeNews.com.
The total equity turnover of the BVB amounted to some 28.6 million lei ($6.7 million/ 5.9 million euro) on Wednesday, compared to 15.2 million lei on Tuesday, BVB’s website showed.
Financial group Erste Bank AG [BSE:EBS] lost 5.47% to 99.4 lei in the largest trading turnover during the session, of 5.96 million lei.
Banca Transilvania led blue-chip decliners, as its share price fell 2.09% to 2.1050 lei in the day’s second largest turnover of 4.95 million lei.
Oil and gas group OMV Petrom [BSE:SNP] stood to 0.33 lei in the day’s third largest turnover of 2.92 million lei.
