Romanian lender Banca Transilvania [BSE: TLV] led the gainers among the blue-chips on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Wednesday, bourse data showed, says SeeNws.com.
The total equity turnover of the BVB rose to 37.3 million lei ($9.2 million/8.1 million euro) from 33.2 million lei on Tuesday.
Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] was the top blue-chip gainer, climbing 4.21% to 2.8450 lei in the day’s largest turnover of 7 million lei.
Blue-chip investment fund BRD Societe Generale [BSE:BRD] rose 2.04% to 14 lei in the day’s second largest turnover of 6.27 million lei.
Digi Communications [BSE:DIGI] stood to 39.9 lei in the day’s third largest turnover of 6.02 million lei.
Starting July 13, Digi Communications, which is the majority owner of Romanian company RCS&RDS, will be part of BVB’s BET and BET-TR indices.
